• MacDonald Garber Broadcasting (MGB) of Northern Michigan announces a bunch of new programming offerings with brand new on-air line ups this spring! Let’s start with Country WLXV (96-7 The Bull)/Cadillac, MI, where PD Deano remains in mornings, Mike Zeroe adds middays, and Stephen Tyler remains in PM drive, with Shawn Parr Across America added for nights. New weekend programming includes Country 2020and The Big Time Saturday Night With Whitney Allen. WLXV also re-images with new station voice Dan Kelly and a chance to win a virtual performance from Triple Tigers’ recording artist Russell Dickerson!
Adult Hits WZTC (104-5 BOB FM)/Traverse City adds local talent and exciting weekend programming to all dayparts for the first time with Mikey in the Morning in place, followed by a couple of market vets: Lisa Knightin middays and John Kelly in afternoon drive, plus a custom night show from the legendary Kid Kelly. Weekend programming includes the addition of the 1980s Rick Dees Weekly Top 40, America’s Greatest Hits with Scott Shannon, Throwback Nation on Saturday nights and Retro Pop Reunion on Sunday nights. Both stations will also add live and local weekend talent, including market vet Mike Misico.
And there’s more: WKHQ (106KHQ) Director of Promotions and morning show co-host Rochelle Gagnon adds promotional oversight of WZTC and WLXV. After surveying all these enhancements, MGB VP of Programming Robby Bridges said, “We are very excited to add talent and programming that will truly make these great brands pop on the air!”
