• David Bartley has been named Program Director of Cumulus AC/Classic Rock combo WGNI (102.7 GNI) and WKXS (94.5 The Hawk)/Wilmington, NC. Bartley earns the transfer from his current PD position with Top 40 sister WQGN (Q105)/New London, CT.

Eric McCart, VP/Market Manager, Cumulus Wilmington, said, “It was immediately clear that David is the right fit and we’re very excited to have him on board in Wilmington to lead our heritage brands. His depth of programming experience will complement our team of incredible media professionals.”

Bartley previously worked for Connoisseur Media Bridgeport, CT as APD of Talk WICC 600 and did weekends on AC WEBE108, and from 2011-2014 he was the local content/morning show producer and handled early middays on iHeartMedia Top 40 WKCI (KC101)/New Haven, CT. Bartley exclaimed, “I’m excited to be part of the Cumulus Wilmington family and they have welcomed me with open arms! I’m very excited for the next chapter in my radio career with two heritage stations in the Wilmington market, and look forward to new beginnings in the Port City. Big thanks to Eric McCart, Barry Fox, and John Dimick for giving me this opportunity.” Bartley succeeds Robert Elfman, who recently transferred to Cumulus Topeka to be closer to home and family.
