Milner, Walker Upped To Pres., Cumulus Ops

• UPDATED: Cumulus Media announced that it has elevated Dave Milner and Bob Walker to the title of President, Cumulus Operations, effective immediately. Both Milner (left) and Walker (right) had served as EVP, Operations for the company since April 2017.

Milner originally worked for Cumulus as General Sales Manager of the company’s San Francisco’s FMs from 2004-2007. Before that he was VP of Sales for Clear Channel Portland, OR. Milner served as VP of Sales for Entercom San Francisco and Market President of iHeartMedia Sacramento before rejoining Cumulus in December 2014 as SVP, West Coast markets. Walker joined Cumulus in January 2013 from The Weather Channel, where he was EVP/GM of Network & Content. He notably spent 22 years as President/GM of Gannett’s WXIA-TV and WATL-TV/Atlanta.

Both gentlemen report directly to Mary G. Berner, President and Chief Executive Officer, Cumulus Media, who commented, “This elevation is a well-deserved recognition of their respective contributions to the Company’s success.
