Denver’s Party Rebrands As ‘HITS 95.7’

• After temporarily (and topically) stunting as “Free Britney Radio,” iHeartMedia Top 40 KPTT (95.7 The Party)/Denver has rebranded as HITS 95.7, “The Home Of Commercial-Free Weekends.” The HITS branding, which launched at noon local time Thursday, closely mirrors similar slogans employed by Top 40 sisters KBKS (HITS 106.1)/Seattle and WHQC (HITS 96.1)/Charlotte.

“The launch of HITS 95.7 marks the dawn of a new era in Denver radio,” said JoJo Turnbeaugh, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Denver Region. He added, “Our passion for hit music — including non-stop, uninterrupted music on the weekends — along with top-notch personalities will propel HITS 95.7 to new heights in the Mile High City.”

Those aforementioned personalities include company veterans Chelsea in middays, Frankie V. in afternoon drive and Drew from 7-midnight. As of now, the HITS 95.7 morning drive shift remains vacant as it has since earlier this month when the cast of The Party Morning Show With Deuce, Nina & Dubz — APD/MD David “Deuce” Jacobson, co-host Nina Blanco and Producer Dubz exited. Rumors are circulating that the syndicated The Jubal Show may be on deck. Stay tuned.
