Elektra Announces Promotional Changes
• RAMP has learned of changes in the Promotion Department at Elektra Music Group. In a joint statement, Elektra President Mike Easterlin and EVP of Promotion Greg Dorfman said, “We are happy to announce that Midwest Regional Promotion Manager Nick Marquez will be transitioning to New York City to become our new Northeast Regional Promotion Manager at EMG, effective immediately.
Nick (left) will be taking over duties from Northeast Regional Promotion Manager, Maria Garcia (right), who will be exiting her position and joining mtheory’s marketing department (and can now be reached at maria@mtheory.com).”
In closing, the guys said, “We wish Maria the best of luck on her new adventure and couldn’t be happier for Nick on this well-deserved opportunity.” Marquez is relocating to NYC from Kansas City and can be congratulated at NickMarquez@elektra.com.
