Hot Tallahassee Gig For Jason Murphy
• Jason Murphy has joined Adams Radio in Tallahassee, FL as the new Program Director and afternoon personality at heritage Top 40 WHTF (Hot 104.9), with a start date of Sept. 15.
In making the announcement of Murphy’s hire, Ron Stone, President & CEO of Adams Radio Group stated, “Murphy brings an energy to WHTF that has been missing for too long. We are excited to have him on our team and leading HOT into a very successful future.”
Murphy began his broadcast career in 1995 in his hometown of Lafayette, IN, and worked his way through college at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. His first commercial PD gig was KPMX/Sterling, CO in 1999, followed by nearly a decade as PD/morning host at NRG Media Top 40 KQKY (Hits 106)/Kearney, NE. Murphy returned to his home state in 2018 and most recently programmed Ad-Venture Media Classic Hits WQRK/Bloomington, IN.
