Bennett Named GM Of 88Nine Radio Milwaukee

• Radio Milwaukee announced that Cheryl Bennett has been named General Manager of heritage Triple A WYMS (88Nine Radio Milwaukee) — a newly created position.

Bennett, who joined Radio Milwaukee in 2015 possesses nearly three decades of experience in accounting, finance, HR and business administration and most recently served as the station’s Human Resources Manager and accountant.

Along with her new GM position, Bennett will continue to be responsible for all HR matters, including managing employee relations, employment programs and initiatives, recruitment, performance management and evaluation, FMLA, compensation and benefits, and policy administration; and managing operations of the station’s facility, including building use, maintenance and operational systems.

Bennett will report to Executive Director Kevin Sucher, who said, “Radio Milwaukee is lucky to have Cheryl Bennett. Cheryl’s professionalism and commitment to our mission is unparalleled.
