Phillips Upped To OM Of LKCM Media
• After three months on the job as PD and afternoon talent on LKCM Media Group’s KTFW (92.1 Hank FM)/Glen Rose-FT. Worth, TX and simulcast partner 95.5 KTWF Scotland-Wichita Falls, TX, Mark Phillips has been promoted to Operations Manager of the company’s four radio stations, which also include Texas Country KFWR (95.9 The Ranch)/Ft. Worth & KRVF (106.9 The Ranch)/Kerens-Corsicana, TX.
In making the announcement of Phillips’s upgrade, Gerry Schlegel, President of LKCM Media Group, remarked, “Mark has done a fantastic job in his first three months at the helm of Hank FM and adapted quickly to our company culture. Going forward, his depth of knowledge and experience will benefit all our programmers. jocks and staff. In his new role as OM, Mark will oversee programming and production on all stations, and continue to program Hank FM.”
Phillips joined LCKM in June 2021, bearing a lengthy DFW radio resume that included 13 years with Cumulus Country KPLX (99.5 The Wolf), seven of those years as PD.
