Taylor Awarded Middays At Seattle’s Bull
• Hubbard Radio Country KNUC (98.9 The Bull)/Seattle has filled its midday vacancy with a familiar voice — company veteran Chelsea Taylor, longtime morning co-host (with Tim Leary) on Hubbard Country cousin WIRK (New Country 103.1)/West Palm Beach, who has graciously agreed to track the shift remotely from sunny South Florida, while retaining her other day job.
In a staff memo introducing Chelsea, KNUC Brand Content Manager Scott Mahalick explained that Taylor has a business degree and an MBA; is a former All-American lacrosse player and the proud mother of three.
Mahalick also shared several “Fun Facts” about Ms. Taylor: A) “Chelsea decided to marry her husband on the first date — mostly because he owned a brewery! B) You can find her most Sunday mornings on the aisles of Target because it’s her happy place; C) Prior to radio, Chelsea was an executive in the medical industry and was hired for her first radio job after shooting a commercial for another radio station! Right place right time!”
The Bull midday show was most recently hosted by former APD/MD Wingnut, who left last month. Earlier this week the APD/MD stripes were awarded to afternoon driver Bryan “B-Dub” Washington. Taylor can be contacted at ceaton@hubbardradio.com.
