New Radio Starr In Omaha
• SummitMedia, LLC has named major market programming veteran Victor Starr as the new Director of Programming & Operations for the company’s Omaha cluster and Program Director of Top 40 KQCH (Channel 94.1), with a start date of Monday, Nov. 8.
Starr arrives in Omaha from Denver, where was most recently Brand Manager of Audacy Rhythmic KQKS (KS107.5) from March 2016 until his departure in July. Starr had been in the building since 2012, working in the KS107.5 sales department when he was promoted to the PD chair. Starr’s previous programming stops include WJHM (102 Jamz)/Orlando, WERQ (92Q)/Baltimore and WZMX/Hartford. He also served as Donnie Simpson‘s Executive Morning Show Director at WPGC/Washington back in the day.
