Haskell Named Talk PD, VOX AM/FM
• VOX AM/FM has promoted Rich Haskell to Talk Format Program Director for the company’s Burlington, VT cluster. Haskell will now oversee programming operations for Fox Sports affiliate WEAV (The Game) and heritage News-Talk WVMT (96.3/620) while retaining his current role as News Director for the group.
The announcement of Haskell’s upgrade was made by VP of Operations/Station Manager John Mullett, who said, “We couldn’t be happier to elevate Rich into this role. His deep knowledge of talk formats, combined with his long-term success in this market, make him such an incredible addition to our team.”
Haskell remarked, “Growing up as an avid listener of News-Talk and WVMT… this is simply an honor. I love the heritage of the station and the legacy it has created over the past decades. Can’t wait to take both these talk brands to the next level.”
VOX AM/FM continues the search for a new co-host for The Morning Drive on WVMT alongside Kurt Wright. Previous co-host Marcus Certa left at the end of the year. Interested candidates should reach out to Mullett at John@star929.com.
