Remsberg Joins Warner As SVP/Commercial Rev.
• Josh Remsberg has joined Warner Records as Senior Vice President, Commercial Revenue. Remsberg comes to Warner following two decades at Universal Music Group (UMG), where he most recently served as SVP, Commerce & Business Development at Capitol Records.
In his new post, Remsberg based at the label’s LA headquarters and reports to Warner Records EVP, Promotion & Commerce Mike Chester, who noted, “Josh is one of the most respected and accomplished execs in our business. He’s worked across musical genres and generations, from superstars to emerging artists, and he brings a wealth of experience and perspective to his post. Josh is a fantastic addition to the team as we strive to maximize revenue streams across every established, emerging, and future platform, while building long-term careers. I’m very happy to welcome him aboard.”

Prior to joining Warner Records, Remsberg spent his entire career at UMG, joining the company in 2001 as an 18-year old college rep at the University of Michigan. After college, he became a Field rep for Geffen Records in Detroit. Working for UMG’s distribution arm, Remsberg later focused on the Republic and Motown labels, rising up the ranks to become a lead in UMGD’s marketing team before shifting to Capitol for the past seven years.
