ALT 97.5 will also feature legendary local Alternative Rock on-air personalities Wells Adams, Gabby Sanderson, Battle and PD Dave Rossi. ALT 97.5 will also serve as the new home for Nashville Sounds baseball. “We’re thrilled to bring ALT 97.5 to Nashville’s Alternative Rock fans,” said Rossi. “ALT 97.5 is an Alternative station with Nashville sensibilities. We’re excited to serve the community, which has such a loyal and passionate fan base.” The full programming schedule looks like this — weekdays: Wells Adams (mornings); Rossi (middays) and Gabby Sanderson (2-7pm). Battle will be enjoyed on the weekends from 10am-3pm.
• Results Radio LLC has filled the dual PD vacancies at its Northern California Top 40 stations — Kendra Rohr is named PD of KCEZ (Power 102.1)/Chico, CA and Jeff Haber is the new PD of KEWB (Power 94)/Redding, CA. Together, they both replace Double J, who left the company earlier this month.
Ms. Rohr (left) most recently did mornings on Leighton Broadcasting Country KZPK (Wild Country 99)/St. Cloud, MN. She was previously MD/morning host for KIOK and PD of KALE-FM/Tri Cities WA, and an air talent for KKWF (100.7 The Wolf)/Seattle. Results’ SVP Dave Shakes said, “Kendra showed us a rare combination of creativity, strategic thought and organizational experience. We believe she can take our No. 1-cume station Power 102.1 to No. 1 share.” Rohr remarked, “I’m ecstatic to join such a great company in this leadership role. I look forward to getting to know the Chico community and calling California home for years to come.” Rohr starts on April 10 and reports to Chico OM Dan Thomas.
Haber (left) arrives from iHeartMedia Los Angeles where he has worked since 2013 in various capacities, including Syndication Producer for Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Producer for KBIG (104.3 MYfm) and Music Director for Coffee Shop Radio. He was previously MD/air talent for WVBR/Ithaca, NY. Shakes said, “Jeff’s SWOT analysis was excellent, and his creativity and air work are terrific. We believe he’s a winner and will positively impact Redding’s No. 1 Hit Music Station.” Haber commented, “I’m beyond excited to work for Result Radio and the opportunity to be a Program Director has always been a career goal of mine. I can’t wait to experience Redding and get involved in the community.” Haber starts on Monday April 17, and reports to OM Cagle.
