Zach Sang Relaunches On Amazon’s AMP
• After 10 years on terrestrial FM, most recently syndicated via Westwood One, Zach Sang has teamed up with Amazon’s new music service Amp, to relaunch The Zach Sang Show.
The series will be produced by OBB Sound, the audio division of OBB Media, in association with FanMade Inc. The Zach Sang Show begins its new daily run Tuesday, March 8 via Amazon’s Amp, and will air live on the app daily from 3-6pm PT from the new OBB Studios, a 15,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art production facility in Hollywood. Sang will also release a premium interview-of-record as a weekly podcast and full video on his YouTube channel.
Sang said, “The democratization of content creation is what humans crave and what has shaped the TV and music industries of today. With Amazon’s Amp, we’re handing the people the power to create and take part in radio like they’ve never been able to before and is going to pave the way for the next generation of radio creators and listeners alike.”
Heather Cohen, EVP of The Weiss Agency, noted, “Zach has always been innovative and ahead of the curve. What started as an internet radio show in his bedroom has evolved to become one of the most exciting and culture shaping shows for young music audiences across the globe.”
Zach’s manager Joshua Russak commented, “Zach is setting a new standard for what the multimedia star of tomorrow will look like. He’s carved a lane of his own by creating a safe space for artists to share their stories and will now bring his audience even closer with a more dynamic and hyper-social live show.” For more information about Amazon’s Amp, visit AboutAmazon.com.
