More Grammy Performers, Paul Simon Tribute
• The Recording Academy® has expanded its performance lineup for the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards® with current nominees Jon Batiste (11 nominations!), Foo Fighters (3 nominations), H.E.R. (8 nominations), Nas(2 nominations), and Chris Stapleton (3 nominations), as well as a special In Memoriam performance featuring songs of Stephen Sondheim by GRAMMY® winner Cynthia Erivo, current nominee Leslie Odom Jr., current nominee Ben Platt, and Rachel Zegler. Previously announced performers include Brothers Osborne, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, and Olivia Rodrigo.
Live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and hosted by Trevor Noah, the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live on Sun, April 3, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
• And in a related story… The Recording Academy®, Ken Ehrlich Productions and CBS will present Homeward Bound: A GRAMMY Salute to the Songs of Paul Simon on April 6 at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. The special live tribute concert will feature performances from Brandi Carlile, Rhiannon Giddens, Angélique Kidjo, Little Big Town, Dave Matthews, Brad Paisley, Billy Porter, Shaggy, Take 6, Irma Thomas, and Trombone Shorty, all to honor 16-time GRAMMY winner Paul Simon, who will make a special appearance at the tribute. The show will air on CBS later this year and include additional guest appearances and performances.
