Two Openings At KXL/Portland
• Alpha Media’s mighty FM News 101 KXL/Portland is in search of its next Producer/Content Editor to succeed Jon Eric Smith, who was recently elevated into the morning reporter position to replace market mainstay Rosemary Reynolds, who is ending her 40-year media career in Portland, the last 12 with KXL.
KXL Content Director Keith Abrams describes the position as “kind of a starter job in the newsroom where the primary responsibility is to produce the morning news block. Prior experience in a newsroom is required and familiarity with Wide Orbit and experience on-air as an Update Anchor is a plus.” Interested folks can apply online at alphamediausa.com/careers (Req. # CONTE002357) and send your package to keith.abrams@alphamediausa.com.
• KXL is also looking for a part-time weekend board op who also can do hourly news updates, prepare news and has good social media skills. Interested candidates can apply online at alphamediausa.com/careers (Req: BOARD002363). EOE.
