Stan & Haney Held Over Indefinitely

• Beasley Media Group is pretty damned thrilled to announce that Stan & Haney, longtime afternoon drive duo on Mainstream Rock WRXK (96k-Rock)/Ft. Myers, FL have inked a sweet new multi-year contract extension and will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

“Part of the Beasley content strategy is to retain the best local talent at our station brands, and Stan & Haney are certainly among the best,” said Justin Chase, Beasley’s Chief Content Officer. “I’m glad they will be continuing to entertain the 96k-Rock Fort Myers audience for the foreseeable future.” VP/Market Manager AJ Lurie noted, “Stan & Haney are legendary in this market. Stan Nawalaniec joined 96k-Rock in 1991 and Mark Haney followed two years later. Over the past 19 years, the duo has raised thousands of dollars and headed up the Stan and Haney DRAFT Fund to provide important direct release and assistance to Florida troops. “Haney and I have spent virtually our entire adult lives working for Beasley and 96k-Rock,” said Stan. “They are like family to us.” Haney added, “I appreciate them taking a chance with us all those years ago. I think it benefited both of us.”
