Mercury Nashville announces two executive moves: radio and record industry pro Greg Raneiri joins the label as Director of Regional Promotion, West, as 18-year company veteran Sally Angeli shifts into her new role as Director of Regional Promotion, Midwest. These two regional changes, which go into effect on Monday, July 18, follow the recent promotion of Nick Kaper to Director of Promotion/Radio Marketing for UMG Nashville.

Angeli (left) has already built an impressive career with Mercury Nashville with several years of regional promotion success in both the Northeast and, for the past five years, on the West Coast. Damon Moberly, SVP of Promotion, Mercury Nashville, noted, “Royce [Risser, EVP of Promotion, UMG Nashville] and I have enjoyed working with Sally for the past 18 years here at Mercury. We are certain that the Midwest is going to love working with her as well!”

Raneiri (right) joins Mercury Nashville after most recently serving as West Coast Director of Promotion for Quartz Hill Records. His major market radio experience includes a stint as APD/MD at Audacy Country KSON/San Diego. Moberly said, “Greg came so highly recommended by radio programmers and industry veterans alike. We are absolutely thrilled for him to join the Mercury promo squad.”

Mercury Nashville is home to such artists as Priscilla Block, Boy Named Banjo, Billy Currington, Travis Denning, Maddie & Tae, Chris Stapleton, Shania Twain, and Sam Williams.
