• One of the premiere Active Rock stations in America has a rare morning show opening! North American Broadcasting’s WRKZ (99.7 The Blitz)/Columbus, OH is seeking a strong host to lead The Morning Blitz!

First, a few routine questions: 1) Are you hard-working, funny, creative, and as comfortable at a sales meeting as you are at a concert? 2) Are you active on social? 3) Don’t mind sharing your work life on YouTube? 4a) Do you want to win? 4b) Badly? 5) Can you complete the following cheer: “O-H…” If so, maybe we should talk.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a deep understanding of the rock brand and lifestyle and possess the desire to engage with The Blitz audience in person on a regular basis. You must be team-oriented! As the legendary Woody Hayes said, “You win with people!” Note, that’s plural. (Don’t know who Woody Hayes was? Google it if you want this job).

Applicants must also possess the ability to create compelling, interesting, and funny content targeted primarily to males in the 25-54 demo, and have knowledge of, (or the ability to learn and execute), Nielsen PPM audience engagement and retention strategies.
