Gebhardt Named PD of Sactown Sports 1140
• Brian Gebhardt has been named as the new Program Director of Bonneville Sports-Talk KHTK-AM (Sactown Sports 1140)/Sacramento, with a start date of Feb. 6. Gebhardt is inbound from Atlanta, where he spent the past seven years at Audacy’s WZGC (92.9 The Game), most recently as the Executive Producer of the Andy & Randy show.
In making the announcement, SVP/Market Manager Steve Cottingim said, “Brian’s experience working with both premiere talent and professional sports franchises will help us help the Sactown Sports brand grow both on-air and on-line.” Chad Rufer, Group Director of Programming for Bonneville Sacramento, commented, “Brian demonstrated to us a real passion for leading extraordinary talent. We are very confident that he will help us grow Sactown Sports into Sacramento’s premiere sports brand.”
Gebhardt remarked, “The station’s talent, flagship relationship with the Kings and Bonneville’s dedication to digital content made this an easy decision for me. I can’t wait to get started and I am beyond excited to be working with Bonneville.”
Current KHTK PD Nick Cattles will remain with the station and focus on his afternoon drive show with co-host Ramie Makhlouf.
