Rhoden Returns To Hall’s Hallways
• Hall Communications’ Country WPCV (97 Country)/Lakeland-Winter Haven, FL welcomes a familiar face back into the family, as Chris Rhoden joins Julie and DJ in the Morning as co-host and producer. He replaces Jon Dennis, who left the radio biz last August for an opportunity in Seattle.
Rhoden already knows the layout of the building, having formerly co-hosted mornings over on Talk Radio sister WLKF from 2013 until 2021. He now gets his key card back and joins Julie K and DJ The Trucker weekday mornings on 97.5 WPCV.
“Having grown up in Ft. Meade, Chris is a Central Florida native who knows this market like the back of his hand,” said Bob Walker, VP of Programming for Hall Communications. “Every time I talk to Chris, I learn something new I did not know about the metro. We are so glad he returned home and is joining us at 97 Country.”
Rhoden noted, “When I was a kid, the radio was on in our house every morning and it was always tuned to 97 Country.
