Leamy Wakes Up NYC On WCBS-FM

• Audacy welcomes New York market veteran Anne Marie “Annie” Leamy as the new morning co-host on Classic Hits WCBS-FM/New York. Leamy will plug in across from Brand Manager John Foxx to create… wait for it… Foxx & Annie in the Morning, beginning February 13.

“Annie is no stranger to NYC radio, and I’m excited to welcome her back through the iconic WCBS-FM brand,” Foxx. “Annie has the ability to relate and build a community of loyal fans instantly. She will bring a lot of energy, a deep skill set, and a ‘whatever it takes attitude’ that really sets her up for success in this role.”

Leamy brings with her 16 years of morning drive experience in the Tri-state Area, the last three years anchoring mornings at iHeartMedia AC WRNQ (Q92.1)/Hudson Valley. Before that, she notably co-hosted morning drive on the late WPLJ/New York for six years. Leamy earlier co-hosted mornings at Pamal Top 40 WSPK (K104.7)/Poughkeepsie, and she began her career with Clear Channel Top 40 WPKF (96.1 Kiss FM)/Hudson Valley.
