Beasley Launches ‘Cooper & Anthony’
• Beasley Media Group has launched The Cooper & Anthony Show on three of its Rock/Talk brands: WRXK (96k-Rock)/Fort Myers, WPBB (98.7 The Shark)/Tampa and KXTE (X107.5)/Las Vegas, where it will be heard weeknights from 7-midnight.
Hosted by developmental psychologist Dr. Cooper Lawrence and veteran radio personality Anthony Michaels, the new conversational talk show, geared towards men, will focus on sex, relationships and advice. Lawrence and Anthony have been rocking the airwaves together since 2006 — their syndicated show was heard on over 120 stations (including WBLI/Long Island) and their successful podcast rapidly jumped to #44. Individually, Lawrence previously co-hosted mornings with Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill at the late WPLJ/New York for five years, while Michaels previously programmed WLNK/Charlotte, among other stops.
