Wanted: Results-Oriented OM, Redding
• Results Radio Redding is still actively searching for an Operations Manager to oversee the five-station cluster that includes Country KCNQ (Q97), Classic Rock KHRD (Red 103.1), Top 40 KEWB (Power 94.7), Adult Hits KESR (107.1 Bob FM) and Sports-Talk KKXS (XS Sports 96.1). This person will mentor and partner with the five local program directors and their airstaffs, and report to SVP, Strategic Development Dave Shakes.
Qualifications: Minimum of three years of experience as a PD and air talent, preferably with prior success in Country radio; the ability to reside fulltime in Shasta County and work onsite daily in the Redding building; 3) Demonstrated experience in leading staff and facilitating department relationships; the ability to help organizations to evolve; demonstrated experience in coaching and development of air talent and program directors; demonstrated ability for effective broadcast scripting and copywriting; demonstrated ability to develop creative and entertaining promotions and demonstrated experience and awareness in trends related to evolving listener consumption of Radio and Audio, and strategy and tactics for local market Media Influencers.
