Fox Ready To Tackle The Wolf

• Congrats to Bill Fox, Brand Manager and afternoon talent at Midwest Communications’ WDEZ (Great Country 101.9)/Wausau-Stevens Point, WI, who has earned a transfer into the same position at Country cousin WXCL (104.9 The Wolf)/Peoria, IL, effective Feb. 27. That gig has been up for grabs since “Dr.” Chris Michaels left last November.

Fox joined WDEZ in June 2021, coming off a stint in mornings on Press Communications’ Classic Rock WWZY (107.1 The Boss)/Monmouth-Ocean, NJ. Fox previously did mornings on Townsquare CountryWOKQ/Portsmouth, NH, Pamal AC WYJB (B95.5)/Albany, NY and Binnie Media’s WFNK (107.5 Frank FM)/Portland ME, and his lengthy resume also includes stops at KXOA/Sacramento, KWYE/Fresno,KLLY/Bakersfield and WBHT/Wilkes-Barre, PA.
