CMG Ups Rainey To VP/National Sales
• Cox Media Group (CMG) has elevated Jodi Rainey to Vice President of National Sales for its Radio division. In her new role, Rainey will oversee national, network and political sales for CMG’s 52 radio stations in 11 markets.
Rainey joined CMG in 2001 and brings nearly 25 years of industry experience to the National Sales team. Along the way, she’s cultivated a track record of success in sales and sales leadership and has produced consistent share growth and exceeded revenue goals in multiple CMG markets.
“Jodi is an outstanding leader and strategic thinker, and she’s passionate about delivering results for our clients and our company,” said Rob Babin, EVP, CMG Radio. “She has a deep understanding of our business, and I’m confident she’ll continue to deliver exceptional results while leading our National Sales team.”
Rainey most recently served as Director of National Sales, leading CMG Radio’s National sales strategy and team while also serving as National Sales Manager in Jacksonville, San Antonio, Tampa, and Tulsa.
