Bold Gold Counts Down To ‘Catskills News Talk’
• Bold Gold Media Group in Upstate New York is making final preparations to launch a new station, as 1240 WVOS-AM/Liberty, NY — currently simulcasting Classic Hits sister WVOS-FM, will become Catskills News Talk on Monday, July 26, augmented by two FM translators: W223DB @ 92.5/Liberty, NY & W235AW @ 94.9/Monticello, NY. The Classic Hits format will remain intact on WVOS-FM (95.9 VOS-FM).

The company will announce a new Thunder 102 morning show on July 5.
Commenting on the impending launch, GM Dawn Ciorciari said, “Taking a legacy AM radio station, and re-imagining it into an additional radio format in a local market is an exciting expansion of Bold Gold’s local broadcast portfolio, and is a testament to an incredible team of local broadcast professionals, a supportive community, and the importance that local radio continues to have to provide local news, talk and information.”

This new project exemplifies Bold Gold Media’s commitment to the local community and local radio.”
