Therese Quinn Comes Home To Bold Gold
• Bold Gold Media today launches a new morning show for Country Thunder 102, simulcast on 102.1 WDNB/Jeffersonville, NY & 104.5 WHNB/Hancock, NY — it’s the familiar voice of Therese Quinn, host of the all new Morning Rumble with Therese, weekdays from 6-10am, starting Wednesday, July 5. Quinn formerly worked across the hall on AC sister 98-3 WSUL and most recently did weekends/fill-in at Pamal AC WHUD/Hudson Valley, NY. She now fills the daypart previously held by 18-year company veteran Paul Ciliberto, who just moved over to mornings on 1240 WVOS-AM, home of the newly launched Catskills News/Talk 92.5 & 94.9.
“We had a lot of great candidates apply for this position — Iin the end, it was clear that Therese was the right one to take on this role,” said Chase Daniels, Director of Programming of Bold Gold NY. “Her already established roots and understanding of the market is a real win. That combined with her true love and passion for radio is exactly what we are looking for, as Thunder continues to evolve and enter a new chapter.”
GM Dawn Ciorciari remarked, “I had the privileged of working with Therese when I started my career in radio, and it’s exciting to be able to bring her back to Sullivan and the Catskills to entertain and inform our ‘Thunderheads’ with a fresh new music-intensive morning show.”
Quinn commented, “I can’t tell you how happy I am to be back in Sullivan and the Catskills, Thunder Country indeed. To me Country music sums up life’s excitement, challenges, amazements and peoples’ determination to keep on making the most of each and every day. I appreciate the enthusiasm of Country music lovers who share that same passion for life! Great music, beautiful people — how can I not be thrilled to start rumbling weekday mornings. Don’t be late!”
