Chicago Now Lawless Territory

• Hubbard Radio Chicago has tapped veteran radio executive Keith Lawless as VP/Market Manager for the company’s Chicago group, the largest market in the company’s portfolio: Hot AC WTMX (101.9 The Mix), Classic Rock simulcast WDRV/WWDV (97.1 The Drive) and AC WSHE (The New 100.3).

In making the announcement, Hubbard Chair/CEO Ginny Hubbard Morris commented, “We are pleased to welcome Keith to Hubbard Radio and look forward to watching him put his unique talents and experience to work with our great team in Chicago.”

Lawless is a 33-year radio industry pro who spent the last 25 years with Cox Media Group, most recently as Regional Vice President overseeing Houston and Tampa until Sept. 2022. Lawless joined CMG in 2000 as GSM of Alternative WSUN (97X)/Tampa. In 2005 Lawless was upped to VP/GM of the cluster’s Rock-focused properties – 97X, WHPT (102.5 The Bone) and Classic Hits WXGL (107.3 The Eagle). From 2009-2021 Lawless served as VP/Market Manager of CMG Tampa Bay, before he was elevated to RVP/GM of CMG Tampa and Houston in March 2021. Prior to CMG, Lawless held various sales and management positions with Clear Channel, Paxson Communications, Reier Broadcasting and Gross Communications.
