Humm Comes Home To Beasley Las Vegas
• Beasley Media Group Las Vegas proudly announces the return of market legend Tom Humm, who assumes the newly created role of Vice President of Business Development for the Las Vegas radio group. These are very familiar hallways for Humm, who previously served as VP/Market Manager of the Beasley cluster from 2008-2018.
In this new role, Humm will be responsible for working closely with current VP/Market Manager Michael Cutchall in developing new business relationships for the market, creating new revenue streams, and increasing revenue with existing clients. “Tom’s commitment to excellence, his deep business relationships and his leadership skills are legendary,” Cutchall remarked. “It’s by design that he has joined the Beasley team again, as we move to a whole new level of community and client engagement.” Beasley VP of Operations Kevin Rich added, “Tom brings with him an extensive and profound network of relationships with individuals and businesses in Las Vegas, alongside an unwavering passion for our industry. We are absolutely thrilled to welcome him back home to Beasley Las Vegas.”
Humm has spent his entire media career in his home market of Las Vegas, starting in 1978 as an account executive with KLUC. He was later promoted to Local Sales Manager before assuming the role of GM of KXTZ in 1984 — a position he held until 1991 when he departed for the GM position of KEYV/KFMS. Two years later, Humm returned to KLUC as GM, adding oversight of KVEG (now KXNT) and KXNO (now KSFN). The 1998 CBS Radio purchase added KMZQ & KMXB to his managerial duties.
“I am honored and grateful to be returning to Beasley Media Group,” said Humm. “Having previously worked for the Company for over 10 years I had the pleasure of working directly for Brian Beasley and with the local staff. As I started my career in Las Vegas Radio in 1978, I look forward to bringing a little local flavor to already great Sales and Programming teams.”
In recognition of his notable service to the Las Vegas market, Humm was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 1999 and honored with the organization’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
