Sports Hub Introduces ‘Toucher & Hardy’

• Beasley Sports-Talk WBZ-FM (98.5 The Sports Hub)/Boston is excited to announce the addition of station veteran Robert “Hardy” Poole to its morning show. Hardy will plug in alongside Fred Toucher as the co-host of the newly rebranded Toucher & Hardy show, 6-10am weekdays, beginning January 4, succeeding original longtime co-host Rich Shertenlieb, who exited in late October. Hardy is a Michigan State graduate who worked as a rock jock for 15 years before making the switch from the late, legendary WBCN to 98.5 The Sports Hub in 2009. Over the past eight years, he’s played a key role in propelling the Zolak & Bertrand show to unprecedented ratings success in their midday slot. Hardy has also lent his voice and creative talents to various platforms across the station, including the creation of the wildly popular “Fuppets” videos for Felger & Mazz. He’s also the longtime host of the Sports Hub Golf Club show and can also be heard across the hall on Classic Rock sister WBOS (Rock 92.9).
