‘Miles The DJ’ Returns To LIVE 105
• The Bay Area is buzzing about the imminent return of market favorite “Miles The DJ” Anzaldo, who will take over the midday shift on heritage Alternative KITS (LIVE 105), starting Monday. At the same time, Megan Holiday will move from noon-6pm to 3-7pm.
Anzaldo will retain his existing duties as Music Director and Regional Brand Manager at World Famous sister KROQ/Los Angeles.
The news of Miles’ on-air homecoming to LIVE 105 was shared in a staff memo from John Allers, RVP, Alternative Programming, which reads, in part, “Miles The DJ is a celebrated fixture at LIVE 105, where his journey began in 2003 [at the age of 18]. Starting as ‘Miles the Intern,’ he transitioned into the role of ‘Miles The DJ’ as he became a full-time host at the station.”
Allers added, “For Miles The DJ, LIVE 105 is not just a workplace; it’s a community and a celebration of alternative music. His journey from intern to DJ, coupled with his love for the Bay Area, makes him a genuine advocate for the local music scene and the diverse culture that surrounds it. You can hear Miles on LIVE 105 Monday-Saturday from 10am-3pm.”
