Reed Returns To CMG, Moving To Atlanta
• Cox Media Group (CMG) Atlanta welcomes company veteran Nathan Reed aboard as Director of Operations/Director of Branding & Programming for AC WSB-FM (B98.5) and Classic Rock WSRV (97.1 The River), effective March 4. He succeeds Emily Boldon, who left the company in December.
“It’s a great day to welcome Nate back to CMG,” said Jaleigh Long, VP/Market Manager of CMG Atlanta Radio. “Nate’s successful experience, market leadership, and passion for this great industry is a winning combination for our Atlanta music stations. Partnering with Ken Charles, Director of Branding & Programming for [News-Talk] 95.5 WSB, only strengthens our position when it comes to leading the most talented programming teams in the industry.”
The move to Atlanta marks a CMG homecoming for Reed, a 30-year media pro who most recently served as OM of Townsquare’s group in Flint, MI, a role that allowed him to be closer to family following the pandemic. Reed previously served as Director of Operations for CMG Tampa and Director of Branding and Programming for AC WWRM (Magic 94.9) and Soft AC WDUV. Prior to his move to Tampa, Reed was Director of Operations for CMG Tulsa Radio, TV and Marketing, and SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Toledo, OH cluster. Prior to landing in Toledo in 2008 as PD of WVKS (92.5 Kiss FM), Reed spent nearly a decade in various roles with Regent Broadcasting in Flint, MI.
Reed remarked, “Joining CMG Atlanta’s outstanding team and award-winning brands is an honor. I’m grateful to Jaleigh Long, Chris Eagan, and Rob Babin for the opportunity to create more success with the nation’s leading multi-media company.”
