Jordan Named Dir./Programming, Renda JAX

• Renda Media Jacksonville keeps it in the family and announces the promotion of Brian Jordan from APD to Director of Programming for AC WEJZ and Country WGNE (99.9 Gator Country), effective Friday, April 26. He will succeed current OM/PD Todd Shannon, who, as we recently reported, is relocating to Denton, TX to begin his new role with the University of North Texas (UNT) as OM/PD of non-comm Triple A/Alternative hybrid KNTU (88.1 indie) and Jazz-formatted KNTU-HD2 (88.1 The One).

 Jordan is a Jacksonville native and a 15-year Renda veteran, who has served in a variety of roles over that time, including air talent on both stations, Production Director and more. He was elevated to APD in 2022. When announcing Jordan’s upgrade, GM Bill Berry commented, “Brian has earned this opportunity. He has done an excellent job over these past few years, and I am very excited for him.”

Jordan said, “I’m looking forward to keeping the momentum going for both stations and continuing to work with our incredible staff members.”
