• Midwest Communications’ heritage Top 40 101 WIXX/Green Bay has a unique opportunity now available for an overnight / early-morning studio coordinator who can keep our listeners entertained and seamlessly transition into assisting the morning show’s social media buzz.
You will be responsible for creating and delivering entertaining and engaging content for our on-air and social media audience, scheduling social media content for the morning show, monitoring social media channels and interacting with listeners, collaborating with the morning show team to develop creative social media campaigns and promotions, and repackaging and distributing morning show content via social media.
The gig obviously requires a strong understanding of social media platforms and user habits, trends and effective ways to reach specific demographic targets. Previous on-air experience with a marketing and/or communications background is preferred but not required. Oh, and you should also possess the ability to stay awake for overnight / early morning shifts. Familiarity with northeast Wisconsin culture, pop music and current trends in the industry would be preferable.
