Williams To Oversee iHeart Alaska & Hawaii
• Kim Williams, current Market President of iHeartMedia Fairbanks, Alaska, has been elevated to Area President for Alaska and Hawaii, effective October 1, following the retirement of Andy Lohman.
As Area President, Williams will oversee operations of the 17+ stations across Anchorage & Fairbanks, AK and Honolulu, HI. She will report to Division President Dan Lankford, who noted, “I have had the privilege of working with Kim over the past four years while she served as Market President for Fairbanks. I’m excited to see Kim’s passion and experience expand to all of the iHeartMedia stations across the entire Alaska and Hawaii area.”
Williams began her career 27 years ago as an Account Executive with Pacific Star AM/FM Anchorage, and later, Sales Manager for Clear Channel (now iHeartMedia) Anchorage. She’s a graduate of Baylor University and University of Alaska Fairbanks with an MA in Professional Communication. She has served as Fairbanks Market President since 2009.
