Jagger On The Loose
• RAMP has learned that Mike Jagger is now a free agent, as his position as PD and afternoon talent at Cumulus Top 40 KMJK (107.3 The Vibe) was eliminated due to budget cuts.
Jagger arrived in KC in June 2021 as PD of then KCHZ (95.7 The Vibe), and Alternative KCJK (105.1 The X). Last October The Vibe relocated to 107.3 and picked up the KMJK calls, while Urban sister KMJK moved to 105.1 KCJK and rebranded as Power 105.1.
The majority of Jagger’s radio career was spent with iHeartMedia, more recently as PD/PM drive talent for Top 40 WKSS (Kiss 95.7)/Hartford from October 2016 until November 2020. He earlier did nights for a decade at WKTU/New York and was MD of Z100 from July 2009 through October 2016. Jagger also did part-time on Z100 from October 2004 to October 2006, and again from 2017 to 2020.
