A Wiser Choice For Live 105
• Veteran Alt/Rock personality Marci Wiser has been named as the new host of Marci’s Playground, weekdays from 6-10am PT at Audacy Alternative KITS (Live 105)/San Francisco, effective immediately.
“Marci’s passion for music, unique style and extensive experience in Alternative and Rock radio make her the perfect fit for our San Francisco audience,” said Stacey Kauffman, Regional Vice President, Audacy San Francisco. “We’re excited for our listeners to start their mornings with Marci’s Playground and introduce Marci to the Bay Area.”
Wiser, a 2021 Gracie Award winner for Major Market Music Personality, most recently spent eight years at Meruelo Media’s 95.5 KLOS/Los Angeles, preceded by a two-year stint tracking various iHeartMedia stations. Earlier stops include middays at Simmons (now Broadway Media) Alternative KXRK (X96) in her hometown of Salt Lake City, afternoons at the late WXRK (92.3 K-Rock)/New York and WTGB/Washington, and morning co-host at KDKB/Phoenix, to name a few.
