Angie Nash Comes Home To WBTU & WJFX

• Adams Radio Group Fort Wayne, IN announced the return of market veteran Angie Nash to where it all began, as she signs on to do middays on Country WBTU (US 93.3) and afternoon drive on Top 40 WJFX (HOT 107.9).

It’s a radio homecoming for Nash, who began her radio career in 2001 as morning co-host on HOT 107.9, and soon added on-air duties on US 93.3. She later left the company, then known as Oasis Radio Group, and spent 12 years at crosstown Sarkes Tarzian as part of the morning show on Classic Hits 101.7 WLDE and did afternoons on Hot AC WAJI (Majic 95.1).

“I’m so excited to welcome Angie back to the HOT 107.9 team!” said HOT 107.9 PD Taylor Morgan. “Angie’s many years of experience and familiar voice to the Fort Wayne area bring a huge asset to our station(s). Welcome home, Angie!”

US 93.3 PD Randy Alomar remarked, “I’m super excited to work with Angie again after several years at WJFX in the early 2000s. Her fun personality & professionalism truly comes through the speakers!”

Nash exclaimed, “I’m so excited and thrilled to be back where it all started for me. It feels like home, it feels really good, and I’m humbled and happy to be working with so many radio icons in the building.”

• We are told that Nash is replacing “two excellent Adams employees who were tracking the shifts from out of market” — Alycia Tassone, afternoon talent on WZVN (Z107.1)/Valparaiso, IN, and Woody Hayes, morning co-host on WWOF (103.1 The Wolf)/Tallahassee, FL.
