Aaron Miller Named SVP/MM, Audacy Sacramento
• Audacy has named Aaron Miller as Senior Vice President and Market Manager of its Sacramento market. He succeeds Stacey Kauffman, who recently left the company. The new gig means an executive upgrade and bonus relocation for Miller, who has served as Director of Sales for Audacy Phoenix since 2019.
“Aaron’s extensive experience in sales and leadership, along with his deep understanding of the broadcast media landscape, make him a sound choice to take over our Sacramento market,” said Doug Abernethy, Audacy Regional President. “We are confident in Aaron’s ability to thrive in this new role, and that under his guidance, our portfolio of brands will continue to deliver exceptional results for our listeners and advertisers.”
Miller began his sales career with Thompson Publishing Company’s The Daily Advance, his hometown newspaper, and later, The Progress Index, in Petersburg, VA. Miller later transitioned to broadcast media, joining Audacy’s WRXL/Richmond in 1996, followed by a move to WJRR/Orlando, eventually rising to General Sales Manager. By 2010, Miller had taken on leadership roles at CMG’s 97X and WHPT (102.5 The Bone)/Tampa.
“I’m thrilled to step into this leadership role at Audacy Sacramento,” Miller said. “With such a talented team already in place, I’m excited to work alongside them and accomplish great things together in the years to come.”
It was concurrently announced that Kimberli Rivera has been upped to VP of Sales for Audacy Phoenix, succeeding Miller.
