• Done deal — as RAMP first reported last week, after several days of stunting, Cumulus has indeed flipped former Rhythmic WWKX (Hot 106)/Providence to Classic Rock as 106.3 The Wolf — an identical musical cousin of Classic Rock sister WMOS (102.3 The Wolf)/New London, CT.

We also recently told you that the New London stations would henceforth be programmed from Providence — we understand that both the new 106.3 The Wolf and 102.3 The Wolf/New London will be under the programming command of Doug MacGunnigle, PD of WPRO-AM/Providence, while Top 40 WQGN (Q105)/New London will be programmed by Nick G, APD of 92 PRO-FM/Providence.
