Lamont & Tonelli Exit KSAN/San Francisco

• Well, that was short notice…. Lamont & Tonelli, longtime morning hosts on Cumulus Classic Rock KSAN (107.7 The Bone)/San Francisco, did their final Bone show Friday morning. We only know this because the guys made the announcement on Facebook on Thursday evening, less than 12 hours in advance.

Lamont Hollywood and Paul Tonelli have been a morning duo since 1989 — in the late ’80s Tonelli was the traffic reporter on K101/San Francisco (with the late, legendary Dr. Don Rose), KNBR, and finally, KSJO/San Jose, where Hollywood was the solo morning host. Something obviously clicked, and the following year the guys formally teamed up — 14 years later they joined KSAN.

So far there has been no formal announcements regarding 1) what’s next for Lamont and Tonelli, and 2) What does KSAN have planned to replace the guys in mornings? Stay tuned for further details.
