Oglesby Named Chief Of Staff, WTMD & WYPR

• Baltimore Public Media (BPM), owners of 89.7 WTMD and NPR affiliate 88.1 WYPR, announced several important leadership changes and structural enhancements “designed to advance our mission of connecting, enriching, and elevating our communities.”

Those leadership changes include Maricka Oglesby‘s elevation to Chief of Staff, “a role pivotal to driving alignment across our organization, building strategic partnerships, and fostering growth within Baltimore’s vibrant community,” according to the press release, which continues, “With over a decade of experience in operations, leadership, and strategic planning, Maricka’s expertise will ensure Baltimore Public Media is equipped to expand its reach and deepen its community impact.”

Oglesby’s background includes roles as Director of the Women’s Leadership Institute of Baltimore, Special Assistant to the CEO at Thread, and Executive Producer of the WOW Festival.
