Andre Riley Named GM, Lotus Seattle
• Lotus Communications is proud to announce that Andre Riley has joined the Lotus Seattle team as General Manager of All News KNWN, Country KPLZ (101.5 Hank FM), and Talk Radio 570 KVI, effective Dec. 16.
Riley (left), brings with him over 20 years of expertise in sales, marketing, and media broadcasting, combined with a dynamic leadership style that aligns with Lotus Seattle’s commitment to growth, collaboration, and community service.
Among Riley’s career highlights was a stint as VP/GM for the University of Washington Athletic Department under WME/IMG College, where he excelled in corporate partnerships and sponsorship negotiations.
The move marks a homecoming of sorts for Riley, who honed his craft early in his career at Fisher Broadcasting, working at KNWN, KVI, and KPLZ from 1995 to 2003. A former co-captain of the University of Washington football team, Riley’s deep local ties and early career experience at Fisher Broadcasting make his return to Seattle even more meaningful.
Riley’s appointment also provided a very special moment for Lotus President Jim Kalmenson (right), as his father, Howard Kalmenson (center), who founded Lotus Communications in 1962, was on hand at a staff reception to officially welcome Riley into the company.
