• Morning personality Tim Hurley has left the building at Mount Wilson FM Broadcasters KKGO (Go Country 105)/Los Angeles after nearly six years.

Hurley broke the news of his unscheduled departure in a Friday Instagram video that goes something like this: “This morning I got the news. Go Country 105 has decided to let me go. I got canned! But that’s alright. I’m going to miss hanging with you guys every morning, but I’ll definitely be around and I’m not going anywhere.”

Hurley is a Country artist, originally from Rhode Island, who was discovered singing karaoke at a local bar in 2014. Two months later he was performing onstage for the first time, opening for John Michael Montgomeryat Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. In July 2019 Hurley made his radio debut on Go Country, named morning co-host alongside Angie Fitzsimmons, and later, Adam Bookbinder (now doing middays). Hurley has been rolling solo since last summer.

In closing, Hurley said, “I wanna thank Go Country for giving me the opportunity for being on the air for over five years and spending mornings with you guys. I’ve been a fan and I’ll continue to be a fan. I love you guys, so I’ll definitely see you around. I’ll keep you posted on my next adventure. See you soon.” Hurley can be contacted at tim@timhurleymusic.com.
