New Adventures Beckon For Lori Giamela
• Please join us in wishing Lori Giamela, SVP of Promotion at RCA Records all the best as she departs the label today. In a staff note, Giamela said, “After 12 years, today is my last day at RCA. I walk away with nothing but gratitude and great memories. We have the best artists & staff in the business and I’m truly going to miss it.”
Giamela joined RCA in July 2013 as Director of Rhythm/Crossover Promotion, West Coast. She was elevated VP of Rhythm Promotion in 2018 and to SVP of Promotion in May 2021. Prior to RCA Giamela worked for Capitol Records as Director of West Coast Rhythm/Urban Promotion. Earlier stops include Def Jam and Elektra.
In closing, Giamela wisely directed our attention to her family’s amazing 60-year old sub shop, adding, “If you are ever in Burbank, make sure you stop by Giamela’s and pick up a Pepper Steak Sandwich!”
