Ray Mariner On The Loose

• Ray Mariner, Warner/WEA Manager, Regional Radio & Streaming is now a free agent as he exits after a nine-year run. Most recently handling the South region, Mariner joined the label in late June 2016 as Denver-based Manager of West Regional Promotion. Country Aircheck initially broke this story.

Before Mariner’s most recent label run he enjoyed a successful radio career, programming former Cumulus Country WRKN (NASH FM 92.3) and Alternative WZRH (106.1 the Underground)/New Orleans from 2014-2016.

 Prior to landing in New Orleans in April 2014, Mariner spent well over a decade in Atlanta, most notably co-hosting mornings and afternoons on WSTR (Star 94), and later, briefly hosted a Sports-Talk show on WCNN (680 The Fan). Mariner’s career also includes earlier programming department stints in Charlotte and Myrtle Beach and ten years as Southeast Regional rep with Columbia Records.
