Jonathan Jacobs: Free Agent

• RAMP has learned Jonathan Jacobs is stepping away as VP of National Promotion at Arista Records after 6 1/2 years to explore new opportunities. “I could not be more grateful for your support and partnership over the years, not only on a personal level but with all our artists,” Jacobs said. “Although our promo team was small, we punched above our weight. I’m proud of our accomplishments.”

Jacobs joined Arista in early 2019, shortly after it relaunched, initially serving as Southeast Promotion Manager, based in Miami and was later elevated to VP. During that time, he oversaw multi-format national campaigns from JP Saxe to Måneskin, and most recently, a No. 1 Alternative record with Jonah Kagen, “God Needs The Devil.”
