Valkoun Comes Home To iHeart Milwaukee

• Colleen Valkoun has returned to iHeartMedia Milwaukee as the newly named Vice President of Sales, effective immediately.

These are familiar hallways for Valkoun, who formerly served as Milwaukee Market President until Sept. 2022. She spent the past two years as Pres./GM of the now defunct Milwaukee Radio Alliance. Valkoun now reports to Milwaukee Market President Dan Lenz, who said, “Colleen is a proven leader with a track record of success in this market. Her expertise, energy and passion for Milwaukee and the business community, make her the perfect fit for this role. We’re thrilled to have her back at iHeartMedia Milwaukee.”

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Valkoun earned a degree in Radio, TV, and Film from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After starting her career with Saga, Valkoun joined iHeartMedia in April 2003 as National Sales Manager for the Milwaukee cluster and later added Madison’s six stations to her responsibilities. She was upped to Market President of both Milwaukee and Madison in March 2015, later returning her focus to Milwaukee.
