Programming Moves At Connoisseur Portland

Let’s start at NewsRadio 101.1 FM KXL, where News Director Grant McHill has been promoted to Program Director. “As someone who has worked at KXL for a decade, I appreciate and understand the station’s importance to the community and its potential for growth in Portland and beyond,” said McHill. “I’m thrilled, honored, and thankful for this opportunity. A huge thank you to Jeff Warshaw, Keith Dakin, Mark Handwerger, and Ross MacLeod for their confidence in me.”
Across the hall, Connoisseur welcomes Kendall Stewart as APD for Triple A 101.9 KINK and Top 40 KBFF (Live 95.5). She will also anchor middays on Live 95.5. Ms. Stewart was most recently APD of Minnesota Public Radio Triple A KCMP (The Current)/Minneapolis-St. Paul. “I’m beyond thrilled to join the Connoisseur Media family and be part of the creative energy behind KINK and Live 95.5!” said Stewart, who earlier programmed Saga Triple A WCNR (106.1 The Corner)/Charlotteville, VA. “I can’t wait to dive in and be part of the radio magic happening every day at these amazing stations. Portland, let’s go!”
Over on Country KUPL (98.7 The Bull), midday host Jamie Tanchyk adds Music Director stripes, while OM Ross MacLeod annexes Program Director duties for 101.9 KINK. “These moves today will ensure our Portland stations are stronger than ever,” MacLeod said. “I’m excited to be part of these teams.” Pictured, (l-r): McHill, Stewart, Tanchyk, and MacLeod
